Volunteer at Ten Thousand Villages in Alexandria, VA

Interested in promoting social justice through fair trade?  Consider volunteering with Ten Thousand Villages in the heart of Old Town Alexandria!

As a non-profit organization, Ten Thousand Villages of Old Town depends largely on volunteer efforts to staff the store and the special outreach events scheduled each month.  We are currently seeking enthusiastic volunteers interested in fair trade and ethical consumerism.  As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to:

-Explain the mission of our store.
-Sell beautiful, handcrafted products.  
-Attend exciting offsite events and festivals.
-Work among other socially-minded individuals.
-Benefit from flexible volunteer shifts.
-Help to provide a livelihood for artisans who live in the developing world.
